![]() Another alternative may be to use FLrig, but that’s for another article. You can choose to use RigCAT or Hamlib and this time I am trying out Ham Web, because it seems to have better control over the radio. So this way both programs can control the radio. ![]() The other cable is a USB cable and I am using it with MacLoggerDX for rig control. This cable is connected and I am using it with FLDGI. There are not any extra settings in the MacLoggerDX configuration for this to work because I am using a second cable, which is the CI-V cable, and it plugs into the remote port on the back of the Icom radios. Have a look at my Icom 7610 Screen Captures and Icom 7300 Screen Captures. DATA OFF MOD and “Unlink from REMOTE” are both necessary. If you’re using an Icom radio the first thing that you need to have set up is the radio. MacLoggerDX and Fldigi Rig Control and PTT So let’s see how I have rig control and PTT set up. There are three things you’ll need to get set up. I want to have these intergrated with each other so no intervention is required on my part. I had an article before MacLoggerDX Fldigi AutoLog Script with PTT App, but I’m doing things a little different this time. I just got it set up with MacLoggerDX and then added FLDGI. I wanted this so I could take the Mac OS on the road with me this fall. I have also installed the following hamlib_settings.json file on my Mac per teh recommendation of the WSJT-X support team. I finally resolved my issues after several phone calls to support at both Apple and Silicon Labs. It turns out I had an issue with the Fusion Drive on my Mac Mini, that prevented the Silicon Labs drivers from properly loading and then being recognized by my IC-7610. ![]()
